Redken Shades EQ Gloss Crystal Clear Semi-Permanent Hair Dye is a clear hair toner that can be used alone or mixed with different Redken Shades EQ Gloss Semi-Permanent hair dyes. As this product does not have color, its main benefits are shine and the ability to dilute other colors.

On one hand, used on its own, this clear hair dye gives the hair a luxurious shiny appearance. On the other hand, when mixed with other colors, it dilutes the hair dye to help to adjust the intensity of the color. The amount of product necessary to dilute the hair dyes will depend on the desired results. Moreover, regardless of how the application, the hair will be optimally conditioned. This is due to its ammonia-free formula infused with wheat amino acids that promote healthy hair. The formula also has an acidic pH that ensures the coloring process is as gentle on the hair as possible.

How to use

This product was developed for professional use only and should not, therefore, be used at home. To simply add shine to the hair, mix Redken Shades EQ Gloss Crystal Clear Semi-Permanent Hair Dye with the Redken Shades EQ Gloss Processing Solution or the Redken Shades EQ Developer Gloss to Gel Processing Solution. Use a 1:1 ratio. Alternatively, to dilute other Redken Shades EQ Gloss Semi-Permanent hair dyes, first mix this product with the desired color adjusting the ratio as desired. Then, mix with the best suited developer using a 1:1 ratio. Finally, apply using either a brush or a bottle to the desired areas and with the suitable technique. Allow the hair dye 20 minutes to process on the hair at room temperature then rinse thoroughly.
